"Our Forever Family"

"Our Forever Family"
Disneyland 2014

Matt & I (Jenice) have been married since August 2001. We currently live in San Tan Valley (Queen Creek), AZ, with our 3 kiddos.

Matt is still working for Southwest Ambulance. He's in Queen Creek it's nice to have him close! He's also enrolled in Nursing school and it keeps him very busy.

I am happy being a stay at home mommy! I'm in the Relief Society Presidency, and shuttle my kids to and from various activities. I also run a bead business out of the house, and am a licensed Realtor.

Amberlyn is now 11. She likes her dance classes, and loves playing with her friends. She loves her 6th grade class! Denver, 8, is a 4th grader! He likes video games and playing with his friends too. Baby Hudson is already 3! He's a super smiley and happy addition to our family. He loves Preschool and Mickey Mouse. He is just like Denver was, he'll do anything for a laugh!

That's our family! We'll keep you updated on our lives!

Why "Martha" sucks!

For those of you that call me "Martha", here is why I should be "de-throned."

I SUCK! To all of the thoughtful people who sent me a lovely Christmas card, thank you, and I apologize for not sending one in return. I meant to do it, really I did. I mean to do it every year. It still hasn't happened. So to all those that I know are just as stressed as I am, and still manage to send lovelies, I hate you, wait, I mean I LOVE YOU ALL! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas! This includes everyone who dropped off all the great Christmas goodies at our door. I suck even more! Please don't think I don't appreciate you, because I do! I feel awful for not scheduling the time in my Christmas season to bake yummies and drop them at your door. So in place of avoiding you at every cost, and looking away in humility so our eyes don't meet, I offer this sincere apology. Especially to Sue, who was so sweet to get me a great little crock-pot. When I called from the door, "another freaking crock-pot!" a few minutes later I thought, that came out wrong. I meant it to sound like, "Yay!!! Another great crock-pot!" You see, after our fun little night, I went and got another one too! And a few hours later, your gracious gift arrived at my door! I really do appreciate it, and one can never have too many little crock-pots! A sincere thank-you for crock-pot #7. (2 large, 4 small and 1 mini. I am planning a crock-pot party for sometime in January, so everyone get your recipes ready!) (how many times can I say "crock-pot" in one post?)

Another reason I suck. I have been forgetting my laundry lately. I wash it, and forget it's there, so I have to wash it again to get out the "sour" before I dry it. I have washed the bathroom rugs 4 times now, which is why, Sue, when you were here for dinner, I had no bathroom rugs. I must look like a hillbilly. I didn't even realize it until I opened the washer the next morning and found them there souring, and washed them, again. Crap. I just remembered I washed the dish towels yesterday, and they are still in the washer.

So there you have it. I'm selfish and forgetful. I don't deserve the title. And my Christmas decorations will probably be up until Valentine's Day.

Oh Jenice welcome to being a full time mom. You mean well but things never go the way you plan them too. I have lovely assistants that is why my home is clean(LOL well most of the time) Just wait a few more years and you will be having your kids do all the work. HAHAHA. I got a new computer this year and all my address' were on the old one so guess what half the people that I love didn't get one. So hope you also don't think I forgot you I just didn't find time to call everyone and get their address'.

Happy New Year too you.

I don't call you Martha because you are perfect at everything you do- if that was the case I'd call you Molly(Mormon). I call you Martha, cause of the cute projects and crafty things that you do. Not EXPECTING you to do them, but when you do them you do an awesome job! No worries about Christmas- I know you love me- hey who wouldn't? J/K

I ditto your friends comment above. Being "Martha" is over-rated anyway. Same as being a "Molly." Just be you, no one can (or should) complain about that.

Oh, and take the unwanted crock-pots back to the store. Wal-Mart almost always takes them back in exchange for gift cards...

I actually think I'll keep the pots! I'm having a C.P. party & they'll come in handy!

Ok he is going for IT (somthing with computers and fixing them) not totally sure. But as far as convicing Matt, It took him this long to go back to school. He finally realized how much he hates being a plumber. They make good money but no benefits and want too have a better future for our babies.

Oh please. No apologies. we had such a good time, and I only brought the crockpot for a small, very small token to make up for my boys and all that they broke. After the party just send someone home with a 'new' crockpot as a door prize! (I wont be the least offended)I know how hard it is to find some place to store all the "stuff' we collect!
