"Our Forever Family"

"Our Forever Family"
Disneyland 2014

Matt & I (Jenice) have been married since August 2001. We currently live in San Tan Valley (Queen Creek), AZ, with our 3 kiddos.

Matt is still working for Southwest Ambulance. He's in Queen Creek it's nice to have him close! He's also enrolled in Nursing school and it keeps him very busy.

I am happy being a stay at home mommy! I'm in the Relief Society Presidency, and shuttle my kids to and from various activities. I also run a bead business out of the house, and am a licensed Realtor.

Amberlyn is now 11. She likes her dance classes, and loves playing with her friends. She loves her 6th grade class! Denver, 8, is a 4th grader! He likes video games and playing with his friends too. Baby Hudson is already 3! He's a super smiley and happy addition to our family. He loves Preschool and Mickey Mouse. He is just like Denver was, he'll do anything for a laugh!

That's our family! We'll keep you updated on our lives!

Well, it actually happened!

My brother Logan is a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force. He is stationed at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas.

A few months ago, there was a rumor that Obama would remove the American Flag from Air Force One if he was elected. The rumors started when he replaced the flag on the tail of his campaign jet with his sunrise/flag "O" that was used as his campaign logo. See the story at Snopes. Well, it actually happened.

The Air Force Base at McConnell shares a runway with Boeing's military facility-Boeing Integrated Defense Systems. It's where they modify Boeing jets to become tankers, airlifts, and other military systems. Today, Logan was out on the flight line and he looked over to Boeing's side, he saw a VC-25, one of 2 highly modified 747s, known as Air Force One. (There are 2 of these planes, and technically speaking, any plane the President is on at the time, is Air Force One.)

Logan also saw a C-32, which is a modified 757 normally used as Air Force Two, to carry the Vice President. What surprised Logan, was the fact that the American Flag was missing from the tail of Air Force One! There was a tail number, but no flag. There is an American Flag on the vertical tail fin of every aircraft in Mobility Command. There was a flag on the tail of Air Force Two, but not Air Force One. Has it been removed from both VC-25s used as Air Force One?

Why has it been removed? Is it going to be replaced with his own logo? Is anyone else upset about this? The symbol of our country and our freedom is the AMERICAN FLAG, not some campaign logo with the same colors!
