"Our Forever Family"

"Our Forever Family"
Disneyland 2014

Matt & I (Jenice) have been married since August 2001. We currently live in San Tan Valley (Queen Creek), AZ, with our 3 kiddos.

Matt is still working for Southwest Ambulance. He's in Queen Creek it's nice to have him close! He's also enrolled in Nursing school and it keeps him very busy.

I am happy being a stay at home mommy! I'm in the Relief Society Presidency, and shuttle my kids to and from various activities. I also run a bead business out of the house, and am a licensed Realtor.

Amberlyn is now 11. She likes her dance classes, and loves playing with her friends. She loves her 6th grade class! Denver, 8, is a 4th grader! He likes video games and playing with his friends too. Baby Hudson is already 3! He's a super smiley and happy addition to our family. He loves Preschool and Mickey Mouse. He is just like Denver was, he'll do anything for a laugh!

That's our family! We'll keep you updated on our lives!

August 23, 2008

Now you see it, Now you don't! (oh wait, there it is.)

Amberlyn usually likes broccoli. (I know!) Denver actually loves broccoli. (How did I get this lucky?!) But last night for dinner, we had beef stroganoff and, yup, broccoli. Denver devoured his. The child has been a bottomless pit lately, I think he's gained 5 pounds this month! Amberlyn on the other hand, always needs coaxing. Unless it's mac n' cheese. Of course, she inhales the processed, sodium filled, starch in a box, but get her to eat a home cooked meal!

Sorry, I'm rambling. Back to the broccoli. She had finished the stroganoff and was suddenly too full to eat her broccoli. However, the child will do almost anything if it's a race. So I told her I bet I could clean the kitchen before she finished her broccoli. On Your Mark, Get Set...GO!!! Away I went to load the dinner dishes into the dishwasher, put the leftovers away, and wipe the counters, the whole time, commentating my play-by-play, as to hurry her up. I told her I was almost done, all I had to do was sweep the floor, when she suddenly shouted, "Done!"

I went to the table ready to praise her for eating her vegetables! Sure enough her plate was empty! However. Denver's plate, which had been empty just moments earlier, was now full of broccoli. Sneaky little..... "But mommy, Denver wants it!" (ya right) I, of course put his plate in front of her and had her finish it up.

You've got to give her some credit, that was a smart move! if only Denver had eaten a little bit faster...
